2011 Lifetime Contribution Award Recipient: Hans G. Schuetze


Professor Hans G. Schuetze is a Fellow, Centre for Policy Studiesin Higher Education and Training, University of British Columbia, Vancouver (Canada) and also a Senior Honorary Research Fellow, University of Glasgow, Scotland (United Kingdom). As a result of his formal education, he holds a Ph.D. in international public law of the University of Göttingen (Germany), and a LL.M. degree from the University of California at Berkeley (USA). Since 1991, he has been a Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Educational Studies, University of British Columbia, and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies in Higher Education and Training (of which he was the Director between 1995 to 1996 and again 2002 to 2006).
